An undergraduate student of Akanu Ibiam Federal Polytechnic Unwana, Ebonyi State, identified as Olivia James, has reportedly committed suicide over a misunderstanding with her boyfriend, Henry.
The deceased, who was combining her cake and small chops business with school, allegedly consumed a poisonous substances days after she celebrated her birthday.
She was rushed to the hospital but was confirmed dead on arrival, according to reports shared online by her fellow students.
It was gathered that Olivia took her relationship with Henry seriously and even updated her Facebook profile with her relationship status in July this year.
However, Henry was not faithful and has been caught cheating on her multiple times but she always forgave him.
Sources close to the couple claimed that Olivia loved Henry so much that she used to spend all her savings on him.
According to reports, after her birthday on October 6, she had a misunderstanding with her boyfriend and he stopped taking her calls, instead a woman was the one answering the calls whenever she called him.
The distraught lady reportedly sent a message to one of her friends to inform her of her intention to end it all but the friend didn’t see the message on time. When she finally saw the message and went to Olivia’s apartment, she had already drank sniper.
Meanwhile, it is said that Henry is on the run.
