Veteran Nigerian actor, Victor Olaotan has died, aged 69.
The ‘Tinsel’ star died on Thursday, August 26, 2021 after battling a prolonged illness.
Olaotan had reportedly been bedridden for five years after he was involved in an accident on his way to a movie shoot.
His wife, Mrs Olaotan confirmed the news, and said she is grateful that the 69-year-old actor can finally go to rest after suffering for years.
She added that anytime she spoke to him via video call, she could see that he was fighting.
“He has tried. It is not easy to be trapped in your own body for five years. He can finally rest now,” she said.
In 2018, billionaire businessman, Femi Otedola had donated N39 million for his medical bills.
