NDLEA Should Conduct Drug Test On Lai Mohammed For His Remarks on #EndSARS Panel Report – Deji Adeyanju Blows Hot

The National Drug Law Enforcement Agency, has been told to conduct a drug test on Minister of Information and Culture, Lai Mohammed.

Convener of Concerned Nigerians, Deji Adeyanju who made the call said this is necessary after Mohammed dismissed the report submitted by the Lagos State Judicial Panel of Inquiry on Restitution for Victims of SARS Related Abuses and other matters as fake news.

Mohammed had in Abuja on Tuesday described the leaked report as fake and a hoax, saying that the report was an “intimidation of the majority by a minority”.

Mohammed stated that the report circulating in social media cannot be relied upon, saying the document was full of discrepancies and errors.

The minister added that the Lagos judicial panel failed to address some of the issues raised by a ballistic expert that testified before it and the testimonies of the Nigerian Army.

Mohammed said the panel compiled allegations made by Nigerians and submitted them as a report to the Lagos state government, adding that the panel failed to investigate the claims of police brutality.

He described the content of the report as “tales by moonlight”, insisting that there was no “massacre” at the Lekki toll gate on October 20, 2020.

Responding on Twitter, Adeyanju asked the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) to conduct a drug test on the minister over his comment on the judicial panel report.

“Marwa’s NDLEA should conduct a drug test on Lai Mohd for his remarks on #EndSARS Panel Report,” he wrote.
