Chelsea defender, Antonio Rudiger has reportedly demanded wages of nearly £6million per season as he prepares to leave Stamford Bridge when his contract expires in the summer.
According to Spanish newspaper Sport, Rudiger wants at least £115,000 a week plus a signing bonus if he chooses to depart Chelsea in the summer transfer window for a new club.
The centre-back is a free agent in June and many top European clubs will be keen to sign him.
His representative and brother, Sahr Senesie recently held talks with Barcelona representatives in Catalonia as the Spanish LaLiga giant looks to rival Real Madrid, Juventus and Paris Saint-Germain for the player’s signature.
There have also been suggestions that Manchester United could also look to sign the German international.
Rudiger could become one of three Chelsea defenders to join Barcelona ahead of the 2022/23 campaign. Barcelona are also keen to sign Rudiger’s teammates, Andreas Christensen and Cesar Azpilicueta in the summer.
