Donald Trump sends 90 Patriot missile defense systems to help Ukraine

It is noteworthy that the US has sent missile defense systems which were previously posted in Israel. Also, it is also worth noting that defense systems will be first renewed and then sent to Ukraine.

Ukraine was getting financial assistance from the United States since the introduction of the Russia-Ukraine conflict, which has recently shut down. Nevertheless, Ukraine will benefit greatly from the acquisition of 90 Patriot missile defense systems from the US.

The Patriot missile defense system is a terrestrial air missile defense system capable of stopping upcoming missiles. Additionally, it can also serve as a missile launcher.

Ukraine reported another attack on Russia’s major oil refinery. Ukraine’s army has attacked the facilities of Riazan Oil Refining Company in western Russia for the second time in less than a week. General Staff of Ukraine’s Armed Forces said in a statement on Sunday.

According to the statement, explosion and fire were recorded in the target area after the attack, the Xinhua news agency told. The vehicle states that Riazan Oil Refinery is one of the four biggest refineries of the Russian Federation. This enterprise especially produces diesel fuel and TS-1 jet fuel. The statement said that Riyazan was involved in fuel supply to the Russian Army.

The Russian-Ukrainian war began in February 2014.
