“Dear ladies whatever you do, don’t ever be a vict!m in Nigeria. Even if you d!e na your faúlt” – Actress Remmy Njoku writes

Nigerian actress and film producer Remmy Njoku has advised ladies to abstain from falling victim to any circumstances in Nigeria.

The actress wrote on her Instagram page that only women get judged and blamed when something negative happens.

This comes following the incident of the two ladies who went missing after they went to visit an online friend in another state.

Though the ladies are still yet to be found, their abductor who was suspected to be an organ harvester has been reported dead.

Concerned about their well-being, Remmy urged Nigerians to improve their sense of reasoning and stop blaming women who fall victim to predators.

Her post read;

“Dear Ladies whatever you do, don’t ever be a victim in Nigeria. Cos your own don finish! Even if you die, ‘na your fault’ Sad we need to start doing better as a people. We need to reset our minds.”

Below are some of the comments;

@hairbyugo:  Even if they were sex workers. Did they also agree to be used for Ritual? It is insane how people blame victims.

@ogemona_mordi:  Yes, same thing I just said to someone now, A woman is a victim in a situation and you still find a way to blame the woman.

@ofejebe_og:  Exactly what I saw on Facebook last night! She was killed by her husband and someone said it might be that she is a nagging wife, so when has nagging become a criteria for ending life???
