“You stole my song” – Blackface calls out Shallipopi
Nigerian singer and member of defunct-music group Plantashun Boiz, Blackface has accused budding artist, Shallipopi, of stealing his intellectual property.
According to the ex-member of Plantashun Boiz, Shallipopi copied his song “Enemy Plan” without his consent for his newly released second studio album, “Shakespopi.”
In a viral video shared on Instagram, the “Say You Believe Me” singer questioned if Nigerian musicians could perform songs without emulating his style or sound.
Blackkface captioned the post; “Una mean say if them no copy my sound or my melody them no go get song to sing? Ok I don make remix for una so make una better abandon this una project.”
