Man calls out the police officer who reportedly raped his 17-year-old sister at gunpoint in Ogudu Police Station

A Nigerian man who identifies as @AdeTheExplorer has called out a police officer on X (Twitter) for raping his 17-year-old sister.

He shared that the officer had raped his sister while at gunpoint at Ogudu police station where she went to file a report.

According to him, his sister was robbed on the Third Mainland Bridge a few days ago and had gone to the station to report the case but was sexually assaulted by the Superintendent of Police.

The officer who has been identified as Owolabi Akinlolu is a 56-year-old married man who describes himself as a God-fearing man on social platforms.

The young man who is hell-bent on getting justice for his sister, said she has been contemplating suicide ever since the incident happened.

He went on to share that some of the colleagues of the officer have been asking that they sweep the case underneath the carpet because the officer is retiring soon.

His tweet read;

“I can’t sleep I can’t breathe properly, NIGERIA happened to me and my family, My sister got raped by a police officer in Nigeria, yes you read it right, OGUDU POLICE STATION my sister must get justice. She’s complicating suicide got robbed on June 16 on third Mainland then got raped on June 29 horrible scenarios I’m shattered Honestly you are right, other top police officers want my family to close the case saying the officer is about to retire just imagine, someone who cause my family so much pain justice must be serve.

While he called for justice to be served for his sister, other Nigerians have lent their voice in helping his sister get justice.
