Nigerian singer, Korede Bello, has joined industry heavyweights, Burna Boy, Wizkid and Davido to have a song go gold in US.
The singer’s 2017 hit track “Do Like That” has gotten a gold certification in the Unites States. He received a Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) gold certification.
Korede took to his verified Instagram page on Thursday, to make the announcement as he shared a picture of the gold certification.
The certification was dated September 20, 2021, roughly four years after the song was released.
Bello also acknowledged the song producer and CEO of the Mavin Records, Don Jazzy.
The singer wrote; “Family, congratulations to us. Big love to all my fans around the world streaming #KoredeBello music. This is because of you.
“We struck gold with this record @burssbrain @donjazzy.”
