Candidates under the age of 18 are not required to submit a vaccination card for the UTME, JAMB says.
Candidates and visitors under the age of 18 are not required to submit COVID-19 vaccination cards before being allowed into JAMB examination halls and facilities, according to the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board.
According to a statement signed by Fabian Benjamin, the head of JAMB’s media and protocol unit, those required to present vaccination cards are those covered by the NCDC Vaccination Policy.
Benjamin explained that the clarification was necessary because “discovered that many underage candidates were making frantic efforts to get vaccinated with some even falsifying their age to be vaccinated just to access services at the Board’s facilities.”
