Mexico extended their dominance over Nigeria’s senior men national team after thrashing the West Africans 4-0 at the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum, USA.
The Mexicans scored two goals in four minutes to record the lead in the game played at the 77,500- capacity LA Coliseum on Sunday.
Mexico continued where they stopped six minutes after the break, as Herrera grabbed his brace, and Jonathan dos Santos added the final goal in the 77th minute as El Tri cruised to a comfortable victory over a depleted Super Eagles side.
The Sunday match is the sixth confrontation between the senior teams of both countries, four of which have ended in draws.
El Tri have now won three games and the West Africans remain winless after three outings ended in a draw
