Álvaro Morata has signed his contract as new AC Milan player on a four year deal until June 2028 plus option for further season.
According to a statement obtained from Fabrizio Romano’s X account, on Friday, “AC Milan have triggered the €13m release clause from Atlético. Deal completed”.
Milan is also in talks with Chelsea and Romelu Lukaku, but according to Gazzetta, two more Blues players have been mentioned during negotiations between clubs: Carney Chukwuemeka and Trevoh Chalobah.
Milan have identified Lukaku as a possible summer reinforcement in attack, given that Manchester United are currently leading the race for Bologna star Joshua Zirkzee.
Gianluca Di Marzio and Gazzetta report that Milan are in talks with Lukaku and Chelsea, hoping to reach an economic agreement with both parties.
Milan don’t want to match Chelsea’s €40m asking price for the Belgian striker, and according to Gazzetta, they are working on a loan deal. The alternative plan is to sign Lukaku permanently but for a lower transfer fee.
One important detail regarding the striker’s salary is that Lukaku can still benefit from the Growth Decree, having spent the last two seasons in Italy with Inter and Roma.
At the same time, according to Gazzetta, Milan are also considering signing two more Blues footballers.
The pink paper confirms interest in promising midfielder Chukwuemeka, while Chelsea have reportedly offered Chalobah to the Rossoneri.
The English defender has been linked with a move to San Siro for a long time and is not part of Enzo Maresca’s plans at Stamford Bridge.
Evelyn Ijeh, daughter of former Nigeria striker Peter Ijeh has signed a permanent contract with AC Milan until 2027,
Evelyn was handed the permanent deal by the Italian giants after excelling at the club on loan from Tigres UANL last season, scoring four goals in 15 appearances for the Rossonere.
They announced this in a statement on their website on Wednesday titled, ‘Permanent deal for Ijeh’ and read, “AC Milan is delighted to announce that Evelyn Ijeh has joined the club on a permanent deal from Club Tigres Femenil l UANL. The Swedish forward, who joined AC Milan on loan in January, picked up 15 appearances and four goals for the Rossonere. Evelyn has signed a contract with the club until June 30, 2027.”
Evelyn’s father celebrated the new deal with a short Facebook post on Thursday, leaving a plethora of congratulatory messages in its wake.
“Congratulations, Evelyn Ijeh, on your new contract. I wish you all the best. Evelyn Ijeh signed a new contract,” the Sweden-based coach wrote underneath a picture of Evelyn singing the contract with a broad smile.
Evelyn, who mainly operates as a striker and has played in all positions, even as a goalkeeper as a child, started her professional career with Kopparbergs/Göteborg FC in 2017 and played there until 2020 before going on to play for BK Häcken FF, 2021 Lidköpings FK, Växjö DFF, and Tigres UANL.
Evelyn was invited to the Super Falcons in 2021 and was part of the team’s trip to Vienna, Austria, during their eight-day training camp after she was handed a surprise call-up alongside her younger sibling Josephine.
Both were not selected in the squad for the Women’s World Cup in Australia and New Zealand but Evelyn was called up by Sweden to be part of the team’s training trip to Portugal ahead of the tournament.
