A Nigerian man has taken to Twitter to narrate how his dog scared away police officers that tied to intimidate and harass him.
According to the man known as Morris Monye, he was driving a convertible car when police stopped him in an unprofessional and intimidating manner.
They approached him and tried to engage but on seeing the Boerboel he had in the car, they withdrew.
Was riding in my convertible with my Boerboel on Sunday around that turning near Alapere towards 3rd Mainland bridge
Police laid checkpoint. Saw my car coming, cocked gun, pointed to me to stop me and shouted open boot
My dog was laying down
The shout and ruckus makes the dog raise his head to know what was going on.
Next thing, the nearest Police man sees the dog, shouts and jumps back, his colleagues wonder why, come closer and both jump back
Police: Senior man, e dey bite?
Me: No o.
Police: Boss when e go born
Police: I need one.
