Precious Chikwendu drops shade post after FFK joined APC: “A good name is better than riches, a thief is never ashamed

Precious Chikwendu has dropped a shade post after her estranged husband and former Minister of Aviation, Femi Fani-Kayode joined the All Progressives Congress.

A good name is better than riches, a thief is never ashamed

The former PDP chieftain was introduced to President Muhammadu Buhari as the newest member of the ruling party on Thursday during a visit to the Presidential Villa in Abuja.

Mr. Fani Kayode said that he was led by the Spirit of God in his decision and that he joined the APC to help for the unity of the country, adding that he was against anything that would cause the disintegration of Nigeria.

He informed that he was instrumental for the exit of three Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, governors to the APC.

The Secretary to the Government of Federation (SGF), Mr Boss Mustapha, was also present at the meeting to introduce Fani-Kayode.

Shortly after meeting with President Buhari, the new APC member had a session with State House correspondents where he claimed responsibility for the defection of three PDP governors who joined the ruling party – Governor Matawalle, as well as Governor David Umahi (Ebonyi) and Governor Ben Ayade (Cross River).

Precious Chikwendu has now recalled the advice she was given by her father, said he told her that a “good name is better than riches.”

She also disclosed that her father told her “a thief is never ashamed because his actions is always against his kinsmen”.
