Former Manchester United left-back, Patrice Evra, has revealed the two things he told forward Anthony Martial after he scored during the Red Devils’ Premier League 3-0 victory against Nottingham Forest on Tuesday night.
Evra said he told Martial to score more goals for Man United and also stay fit for the remainder of the season after the Nottingham Forest win.
Man United defeated Forest at Old Trafford thanks to goals from Martial, Marcus Rashford and Fred.
“I’m happy with [Anthony] Martial, and I talked with him after the game. I said that I want more goals from him,” Evra told Amazon Prime Video.
“I also told him that I want him to stay fit. It’s really important and I think that’s why the manager took him off. He wants to take care of his fitness, as well.”
