A young man’s deft skill in setting a trap and catching birds in a viral video has intrigued and shocked social media users.
In the video, the boy had spread grains on the floor to lure the pigeons who mostly land on the ground. He also had set a thin thread around it to catch them when he pulled.
Soon two pigeons had gathered round the food while the boy waited for a while before he pulled at the string. As he pulled, the pigeons attempted to fly away and it had seemed so until it appeared that the thread had caught both.
The catch was so smooth and expertly done that netizens’ reaction to it was one of disbelief and astonishment. Some wonder what people enjoy in eating birds.
