Big brother Naija reality TV star and singer, Hazel Oyeze Onou, popularly known as Whitemoney, revealed that he has lost his interest in the popular American Academy awards, Grammys.
The BBNaija season 6 winner, Whitemoney made it known during his recent interview with content creator, Egungun, stating that his target is now on the local Headies Awards.
It is no more news that Whitemoney expressed his desire to win a Grammy award just like Burna Boy, Wizkid and Tems.
However, he revealed in the interview that the award has been compromised and lost its value.
Whitemoney also added that he just needs any award that makes him relevant.
In his words, “The way things are going now, Grammy don cast. Make we manage Headies. I’m not sure if I’m still pursuing my desire of winning Grammys. Now I’m pursuing any award that keeps my relevant. Because after what Grammy organisers did to our superstars, Davido and Burna Boy at the last award ceremony, it’s now looking like they are using Nigeria for publicity stunt.”
“But never say never. My style of music is unique. If it takes me to the Grammys, no wahala”.
