Do you know there is a limit to what you can share with others? It is a natural phenomenon we must understand and never try to be nice with it. There are certain things you must never compromise; it is ideal we discipline ourselves against it because it does not translate to care.
Toothbrush
No matter the situation, using someone else’s toothbrush is not an option. When you do, you’re exposing your mouth to other bacteria aside from the one unique to your mouth. This exposure can increase your chances of getting cold, germs and flu. Food particles do get trapped inside the toothbrush; this is why it is unhygienic for you to use someone else’s toothbrush or share yours. Maintaining good oral hygiene is good for the teeth and gum; your mouth also would be healthy.
Shaving Stick
Sharing a shaving stick will only make you contract infection. When shaving, the skin does get tiny holes that could lead to an open wound. No matter how careful you think you are, the blade area of the stick accommodates little hair and sometimes cuts you. Sincerely, some skin keeps germ that can lead to irritation if you share or use another person’s shaving stick.
If you’re the type that loves to give out your used handkerchief; please stop. Unlike tissue paper you use and dispose immediately; a handkerchief is a breeding place for bacteria. Handkerchiefs are used for different purposes such as wiping dirt or sweat from the face and cleaning of a running nose. Using other people’s handkerchief is unhealthy and you can get infected.
Sponge
Sharing a sponge with your friend, family and even partner is not healthy. It is something very common among us, our parents; but we learn every day. You know most of the time, sponges are always wet and this can breed fungi. It is ideal that individuals including kids should have their own sponge to avoid any form of infection.
Underwear
Don’t give out your underwear neither should you wear or borrow from someone. You’re exposing yourself to bacteria if you do; in fact, it is unhygienic. Always make sure your underwear are dry before wearing and never compromise them; even for once.
