I’m Being Targeted Locally And Internationally By Mischief-Makers – Peter Obi

Peter Obi, the Labour Party’s presidential candidate in the 2023 election, has stated that he is facing targeted attacks from mischief-makers, both within his country and abroad.

These individuals are impersonating him, replicating his voice, and making phone calls to discredit him and associate him with actions he has not committed.

Their purpose is to gain political advantage by spreading false information about him.

Recent reports claimed that Obi had called Mustapha Audu, the son of the late Prince Abubakar Audu, a former governor of Kogi State.

However, Obi, through a statement on his verified Twitter account, has denied making the call.

He clarified that he was not in Abuja, or even in the country, on the day in question.

Obi expressed concern that his impersonators are still actively engaged in such deceitful behavior, mimicking his voice and contacting people.

He emphasized that there seems to be no limit to the lengths people will go to cause mischief against their targets. As a result, he has become a target both locally and internationally.
