The Igbo community in Borno State, Northeast Nigeria has been provided free transportation to the Eastern and other parts of the country.
Governor Babagana Umara Zulum made the offer to enable them travel home to celebrate the festive season with their loved ones.
The gesture was borne out of the governor’s magnanimity to ameliorate the sufferings faced by the residents and give them a sense of belonging in the running of the state’s affairs.
