What is the best way to stay healthy?

Staying healthy is easy.

You can watch a lot of health videos that tell you to:

  • Drink this supplement brand
  • Eat this superfood
  • Buy my course on staying healthy

It’s not wrong. But, it’s too complicated.

Staying healthy requires just 3 things, which are:

  • Eating
  • Exercising
  • Sleeping

You don’t need any courses or videos about “the fruits are making you fat” or “don’t eat rice.”

Instead, focus on those 3 things in the right way.

Here are some advice:

  • Eating

It’s simple.

Cut the snacks, junk food, and sweets.

And substitute it with a balanced meal that contains:

  1. Carbohydrates (Rice, Bread, Quinoa, Oats, etc)
  2. Protein (Meat, Fish, Poultry, Eggs, etc)
  3. Healthy Fats (Avocadoes, Egg Yolks, Nuts, etc)
  4. Vitamin and Minerals (Fruits and Vegetables)

That’s it.

Don’t overcomplicate it.

Just eat a more balanced meal that contains those 4 things, and you will be healthier.

  • Exercise

Once again, it’s so simple.

If you haven’t exercised in a while, then this is your sign to do it.

Here’s how:

  1. Exercise 3–5 times a week
  2. Combine cardio with resistance training
  3. Don’t overtrain

The exercise aims to make sure you lose fat and build muscle.

Therefore, balance between cardio and resistance training.

Just by making exercise a habit, it will make you healthier, fitter, more agile, and more mobile.

  • Sleeping

A lot of people don’t care about sleep as they should.

Sleep plays a huge role in your health, as it:

  • Repairs muscles and tissues
  • Increases immune
  • Reduces stress

And there are many more.

So, if you want to stay healthy, make sure that you get 7–8 hours of sleep every night.

But, it’s not only about quantity.

It’s also about quality.

So, here’s my advice for sleeping:

  1. Cut out all blue lights one to two hours before sleeping
  2. Eat foods that produce melatonin (ex: bananas) an hour before you sleep
  3. Sleep for 7–8 hours every night

By doing these 3 things, you will have both high-quality and high-quantity sleep.

These are the only 3 things you need.

Once you make all these 3 things your main focus and habits, then you will be healthier.

So, don’t overcomplicate it.
