Super Falcons beat Cameroon 1-0, advance to fourth round

The Super Falcons of Nigeria have successfully advanced to the final round of qualifiers for the 2024 Paris Olympic Games.

This triumph allowed them to progress with a 1-0 aggregate score, following a goalless draw in Cameroon the previous week.

Esther Okoronkwo netted the sole goal of the match in the 14th minute, contributing significantly to Nigeria’s advancement.

The game took a turn for Cameroon as Enganemben Annie received a red card, reducing them to ten players due to a reckless challenge on Chiamaka Nnadozie.

Looking ahead, Nigeria is set to face the winner between South Africa and Tanzania in April, competing for one of the two coveted tickets to the Paris Olympic Games.
