Former Disney Channel star Skai Jackson has been arrested after a public altercation.
According to TMZ, the actress – who is renowned for roles in ‘Jessie’ and ‘Bunk’d’ – was detained for domestic violence.
Per sources, authorities responded to a call at Universal CityWalk where a security guard witnessed Jackson and her boyfriend in a heated dispute. It’s claimed that the actress allegedly pushed him multiple times.
Security detailed the couple and called the cops.
Interestingly, the pair denied the seriousness of the matter – allegedly telling responders that they were engaged and expecting their first child together.
However, when security footage was reviewed, 22-year-old Jackson was arrested for misdemeanor domestic battery and cited. She was released hours later.
As of writing, the matter is being reviewed by the L.A. County District Attorney’s Office. It will be determined at this juncture whether charges are necessary.
