Worried by the high rate of ritual activities in the country, actress Halima Abubakar, has advised ladies to always wash the blood from their menstrual pads or bury them in a pit after use.

According to her, such acts saves lives. She wrote:

“Start washing out your blood from your pad.

sounds dirty,but save lives.

Or if you have a pit,

Good for you.

Take care of ur blood.”
