A Nigerian lady, Joyce Ijeoma, who was on the course to set a Guinness World Record for the longest massage on different individuals, has collapsed.
Since Nigerian chef Hilda Baci broke the Guinness World Record for the longest cooking time by an individual, it has motivated Nigerians to attempt breaking various records.
While another Nigerian chef, Adeyeye Adeola, is currently attempting a 150-hour cooking marathon to break Hilda’s record, the Nigerian masseuses started a 72-hour massage-a-thon in the Lekki area of Lagos State on July 1, 2023.
Joyce Ijeoma was striving to set a 72-hour record but could only manage to reach the 50-hour mark. She collapsed during a massage session, which was streamed live on her Instagram page.
