Following President Muhammadu Buhari’s directive, Senator Godswill Akpabio, the minister of Niger Delta Affairs, has resigned his appointment.

President Buhari during Wednesday’s Federal Executive Council (FEC) meeting had ordered all members of his cabinet seeking elective offices in the 2023 election to quit before May 16.

 

According to THE WITNESS, Akpabio submitted his letter of resignation to the Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Boss Mustapha on Wednesday.
