The Defence Headquarters shared this interesting post on its social media handles, hours after its officers had an altercation with the Minister of the FCT, Nyesom Wike.
Wike had stormed the property in the Gaduwa district of Abuja to stop a building project, According to the Minister, the land which is linked to a former Chief of Naval staff was being developed without the required documentation, He insisted that the builders stop work but the military officers who were acting on the orders from above, stopped him and his officials from preventing the building project.
Wike who could not hide his displeasure, asked one officer to ‘’shut up” and went on to call him a fool, to which the officer responded ‘’I am not a fool and I will not shut up. I am acting on orders‘.
Hours after the altercation, the Defence Headquarters put up a post above reminding Nigerians that it is an honor to serve in the Nigerian Military.
