Emmanuel Obasi, the former husband of Nollywood actress Judy Austin, has spoken out about his long-standing custody battle with the actress, expressing deep distress over being denied access to his children for more than a decade.

In a video circulating on X (formerly Twitter) on Tuesday, Obasi shared his emotional ordeal, stating that he hasn’t seen or heard from his children in over 10 years and is uncertain about their well-being.
Obasi alleged that he and Judy Austin were legally married and had three children together. However, since their separation—after Judy allegedly left him for her colleague, actor Yul Edochie—he claims she has kept the children hidden from him.

According to him, every effort to reach or see his kids has been fruitless. He further claimed that there were attempts to silence him.
“I’m in pain, I don’t know if my children with Judy Austin are still alive. She has kept them away from me for over 10 years,” Obasi said in the video.
He also expressed suspicion over Judy’s social media activity, noting that she only posts photos of her children with Yul Edochie and never the ones they had together.
“Judy only posts the children she has with Yul Edochie, she doesn’t post my own, and it’s suspicious. I am calling on VDM and Nigerians to please help me locate my kids.”
The emotional plea has sparked renewed conversations online about custody rights, parental alienation, and the responsibilities of public figures. As of now, Judy Austin has not responded to the allegations.
