I’ll Review My Citizenship If Tinubu Becomes President In 2023- Bode George

A member of the Peoples Democratic Party(PDP) Board of Trustees, Olubode George has condemned the call for a Tinubu presidency in 2023, alleging that he will review his citizenship if that happens.

George who was responding to former Minister of Works Adeseye Ogunlewe while on the Morning Show on Arise TV on Wednesday, said he will review his citizenship if Senator Bola Tinubu, a two-time Governor of Lagos State is voted to be president of Nigeria in 2023.

Ogunlewe had during the show asserted that Tinubu will be the most appropriate man to help achieve a South presidency in 2023 following his antecedents.

In his response, George stated that he was shocked at the kind of sudden stance of Ogunlewe following his previous criticism of Tinubu.

On Tinubu’s presidency the vocal George said, “If you take his leadership in Lagos for the eight years he spent in government in Lagos State on a scale of one to 10, he will not score more than one.

“We are still talking about the way he has appropriated things of the state to himself. The Alpha Beta he is using to milk the treasury of the state is still on.

“Is that the kind of man that should be Nigeria’s president?

“Tinubu the best man to be Nigeria’s president? I will do whatever necessary to review and renew my citizenship if that happens.

“That kid of fellow, you think Lagos is better off; you all live here, you see the traffic, when the rains are here look at the State, no drains, look at what they put at Bar beach and other failed structures,” he added.
