Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola has won the Manager of the Season award while Ruben Dias has been named the Premier League Player of the Season for the 2020/21 campaign.
This was announced on the Premier League’s official website on Saturday.
Guardiola saw off competition from Leeds manager Marcelo Bielsa, West Ham’s David Moyes, Leicester City boss Brendan Rodgers and Manchester United’s Ole Gunnar Solskjaer to win his award.
The Spaniard guided City to their fifth Premier League title and his third in four seasons in England.
While Dias completed an individual award double after winning the Football Writers’ Association award in May, beating his City team-mate Kevin De Bruyne – who won the Premier League Player of the Season award last season – and Tottenham striker Harry Kane to the honour.
All three were shortlisted for the Premier League’s best player award, alongside Manchester United midfielder Bruno Fernandes, Aston Villa’s Jack Grealish, and Liverpool forward Mohamed Salah.
West Ham midfielder Tomas Soucek and Chelsea’s Mason Mount were also nominated.
Dias has made 32 league appearances for Man City this season since joining the club last summer from Benfica.
He has helped his side register 15 clean sheets while on the field of play.
His partnership with John Stones at the heart of City’s defence conceded 32 goals in total in the league, and while it played a key part in their Premier League triumph this season.
