Deceased lawyer’s husband narrates how his pregnant wife was shot dead by policeman (Audio)

Gbenga Raheem, the husband of the deceased lawyer, Bolanle Raheem who was shot dead on Christmas day by a police officer has recounted what had occured during the unfortunate incident .
The man said that he and his wife and other family members had gone to a nearby church for service on Christmas day.

After their service at church, they decided to take the whole family out to an eatery since it was Christmas.

On their way back home, they had made a U-turn under the Ajah bridge and encountered some policemen stopping and searching cars.

Gbenga Raheem said that in that moment he heard a loud crack on his wife’s side window, only for him to see that his wife’s chest was gushing with blood from a gunshot wound.

At this moment he ran out and his sister-in-law who was also in the car had ran out ahead of him and held on to the policeman but he cocked his gun at her.

He said that he had to run back to his car to try to offer help to his wounded wife, who he revealed was at this point gasping for breath. 

The bereaved man revealed that his sister-in-law was able to drag back the policeman to their car and he was made to enter, whereupon they headed for the hospital.
