Nigerian actor and filmmaker, John Njamah has poked holes in the recent trend of controversial celebrities getting more endorsements than the ones who are good at their craft.
He condemned the act of rewarding entertainers who are mostly known for the wrong reasons like parading themselves in skimpily clad outfits, doing butt surgeries and being out rightly controversial.
The actor wondered why brands stopped making ambassadors out of people who are talented and eloquent.
John Njamah wrote; ”Gone r d days when they make u brand Ambassador’s because you are good at what you do, intelligent and can speak intelligently.. these days all u need is to be controversial, be popular for the wrong reasons, go naked, add an Xtra bum, be flippant,… nd you will be endorsed. sad!”
