Barcelona have confirmed they have struck a deal with Girona for striker Pau Victor to stay at the club for the next five years.
Victor was Barca Atletic’s top scorer last season after impressing with Rafa Marquez’s side who made it to the promotion play-off final.
Barca failed to take up a purchase option in his contract but have now confirmed he will continue at the club until 2029,
“FC Barcelona and Girona FC have reached an agreement for Pau Víctor to remain at the former until 30 June 2029,” the club said in a statement.
Barcelona have reportedly paid around 2.5 million euros to land Victor. He is expected to link up with the first team under Hansi Flick and should now be part of the pre-season tour to the United States.
