Fred Omondi’s Autopsy Result Indicates Injuries That Led to His Immediate Death

Fred Omondi died on June 15 after the boda boda he was using collided with a matatu killing him on the spot

His autopsy results indicated that his skull had cracked due to the impact of the hit he endured when he hit the floor

His boda boda rider is also reported to have passed on while undergoing treatment at Mama Lucy Hospital

Fred was atop boda boda on June 15 when it collided with a matatu head-on, killing him on the spot.

However, Ken Waudo, Laugh Industry Board Member and Churchill Show director, while addressing the press shared details from the autopsy result.

While talking  Waudo also shared that,

“His head hit the bumper of the matatu. Actually, when you see it, the metal of the matatu is curved. And I think that impact was very strong. He had a cracked skull. and the matatu had also pulled him, so he had a lot of fractures on the right side of his body, the legs and the hands. And so many ribs were completely broken,” he said.

Waudo dismissed speculations that were doing rounds online that saw netizens and friends of the comedian question the circumstances that led to his death.

He added that Fred hitting his head led to his immediate death as his skull hit the road.

“If he survived, he would have been a vegetable. His spine had also cracked,” he added.

Elsewhere, veteran comedian Eric Omondi mourned his brother Fred hours after news about his death emerged.

He shared a TBT video of themselves recreating a parody bongo song but showcasing the ills happening in Kenya.

His tribute to his brother left many Kenyans and his fellow celebrities sending him condolences.

A member of the comedian’s funeral committee revealed Fred’s remains will be flown to Kisumu on Friday, June 28, and will be buried on Saturday, June 29.

The comedian’s step-mum also spoke and urged Kenyans to help them as they prepare to bury the veteran star.

The comedian’s friends and top comedians, among them Churchill, led Kenyans in contributing KSh 453,000 towards his burial.
